Well that is a cool idea.

 

So this is an extension/add on to an earlier successful Kickstarter campaign that these guys had 2 years ago with TinyDuino of a extremely small screen.

Saw this the other day. The first thought I had was how the hell can a screen that small be any use besides telling the time and giving short notifications? It's too small, at least from what I've seen, to be any more practical than that.

well as long as its in the specs (so 3-5.5V) and can supply the current needed, then i dont see why not.
