Ubisoft delays The Crew to December 2nd

The Crew was to be launched on November 11th, that date was been changed to December 2nd. Ubisoft claims that the delay is for a good reason. "It’s because the teams at Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections are listening to all of you." Ubisoft is now saying that they are "listening" to you. If you really want to play The Crew don't worry as there will be another closed beta for consoles planned in November.

They realized  the game they made was too good, so they indeed needed time to downgrade

I disagree, they've been making a decent amount of changes that improve the game over the course of this summer.

the fps cap is pretty fucked up though :/

oh, and the AA was also really bad for some reason. Staircase shiz everywhere. And it already ate ~2.5gb vram on 1080p

It's a bad sign, although I didn't have super high hopes for "30" fps racing to begin with.

Well you could in the beta remove the cap, but it made it stutter like every 2 seconds. Anyway if they do downgrade it someone will find the files that they might have changed.

Well that might be true but the core base of the game hasn't been changed and that was the reason why the game wasn't very good but on the other side it wasn't a bad game it was just a very mediocre title. And yes I did play through the entire game, I even bought the season pass however I will no play it. It was a thoroughly boring experience.

Resolution, texture, art assets lots of things actually. Framerate and resolution are not the only settings a game runs at.

This game looks poor as it is, its hard to make it worse looking but we all "believe" in ubisoft :D
