LTT- What is your dream car?

Syntaxvgm

What is your dream car and why?
Also, any second, more financially realistic/daily driver choices?
Tell us a bit about the car if it's not a commonly drooled over car.

EDIT-Pictures please!

I personally am not a car person. I am an engineering enthusiast who until recently knew little about cars oddly enough.
I won't cringe when you put a Chevy engine in a Ford. I value simplicity and power.
Forgive me, but I'm not in to supercars. I would love to drive an Aventador, or a Zonda. But I don't like the culture around it all. I don't like the eliteism, and might not want to own one even if I was rich. I wouldn't want to be lumped in.

So what's my dream car? A Factory Five GTM Gen 2. Yep. A kit car.
Within the next year or two, I will begin studying cars and possibly start formal education for the subject. It comes easily to me, I can already tell.
I may even strive to become ASE certified, even though I am not pursuing an automotive profession in any way.
Building my own car would be the proof of my accomplishment if it's not my career. I value something made over something bought.
Sure it would take several months to complete, but when the day comes that I believe I'm ready, I WILL buy a kit. It may be several years from now, but I have my eyes set on it.

It's based a lot on the Corvette C5, and has a lot of donor parts from one. The engine is up to you somewhat, and the transmission no longer needs to be a Porsche G50 based one.
While the recommended setup does 0-6 in 3 even, many who build this end up with over 1000 bhp.
It's reminds me of a corvette combined with a Ford GT/GT40. I'm not into super cars, but this is an exception. I would love to own something like this. That I made.

Not to mention you'll be hard pressed to find one on the road, it's very uncommon. It's certainly not a lambo, but it's a conversation piece, and an accomplishment to be proud of.

While the GT40 MKII is my favorite car (But dayum them gulf colors on the MKI), I don't want one. I'm too tall and would need that modification, and the rolling chassis from
superperformance costs over 100K$, and I wouldn't really be building it. The GTM gen2 costs 25k$ for the kit (lacking engine, transmission, and minor corvette donor parts), and that make's it a really reasonable dream car to own.

I'm throwing a curveball here, but a 2013 Cadillac CTS-V, blacked out with engine modifications that would amount to around 750-850HP.

Why so? Sexy, discrete and sleek. Also, it would be a fun vehicle to have. It doesn't want to drive in straight lines without some convincing, and that's what I like. It has attitude and it is a bit brash. I like the way it looks, I like the way it performs, I like the way it carries itself. It's not a fancy car, but it is not trying to be. And I know someone who has one (and it's amazing, though not tricked out.)

More financially realistic? A Golf R. Simply put, it's a hot hatch on steroids.

Dream..

Custom built 99-04 Mustang carbon fiber body widened a few inches and built for track performance.

Just because I love ours so damn much. I managed to find a picture of one the same as when we got ours.

For me, my dream cars are either (in no particular order):

1) Mercedes SLS AMG. My best friend's father bought one a few years ago and told us to take it out for the night after our high school graduation. That's a night I'll never forget. :)

2) The Porsche 911 Turbo S. I have yet to get behind the wheel of one but I have ridden in other less powerful Porsches and I LOVE the way the drive.
