Japanese Media tested iPhone 6 Plus's OIS with a electronic massager/vibrator? (*updated with follow-up video)

This video totally cracks me up. Japanese Media RocketNews24 wanted to test the Optical Image Stabilization on the new iPhone 6 Plus. So what they did? They taped the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5 together on an electronic massager, and opened the camera apps on both iPhones when the massager is powered on, as they used the massager's vibration to emulate different levels of shakiness of human hands.

They set the strength of the vibration to weak at first, and set it to "strong" near the end of the video. You may surprised by how the new iPhone performed when they turned on the massager.

Personally I hope they will do it individually, as both phones are not taped at the center. I wonder will there be any difference with the result if the iPhones were tested individually.

Update:

RocketNews24 reviewed their testing methodology, and decided to perform the test again. But instead of tape the two iPhones together on the same electronic massager/vibrator, they taped the iPhones directly on the massager/vibrator, and test them individually. So what's the result? Let's see...

That is quite a good way of compairing I think, the stabilisation is really good on the iPhone 6 it seems

Why does it look like blurry shit?

Well it is electric, and you do use it to massage something.

Look again. It's the iPhone 6 with OIS that looks completely messed up.

The magnets probably couldn't react quickly enough so what happens is that the camera is moving left when the "massager" has already started moving right (and left, and right again).

You can see that the iPhone 6 is steadier before he turns it on but then it just becomes a blur.

Edit: This is like trying to balance a pen on your finger tip... while in a hurricane. The OIS would be like trying to blow on the pen to counter the hurricane winds. Chances are you just end up doing more harm than good.

They should do it individually, the iPhone 6 might have been shaking even more as it was a bit off to the side and it's larger! Although not a bad way to test stabilization, but they should only set it to weak, it's the only "realistic" setting,  I mean no one shakes that much, not even epileptics!
And nice vibrator! :D

Yeah xD, I wasn't yet at the 1min mark...... So when you don't tape it to a massager it does seem to be better, but yeah when he turns it on it fucks up.

Also what might be semi important is that the 6 is larger, so its camera is futher away from the motion (?), so it could be amplified because of that (I'm not sure though)

they should (or Linus should) use that to test other phones equipped with OIS...

That made me think o f this:

OK, I didn't bring this up the first time but did they just have an "electronic massager" laying around in the office?

Let's get real here.

What kind of porn these guys do and where can I find it?
