Destiny is not coming to PC Bungie pretty much refused to port it.

They've stated that they're working on it. And if it doesn't, well then fuck them, star citizen is going to blow their asses out of the water in the first place

Well a PS4 would be my choice of console due to having more raw power, and I've been brought up on playstations from ps1 to ps3, but the Wii U is my favourite of the current consoles (cos mario). If you really want to get a console to play destiny on release, then toss a coin between the Xbone and ps4, but otherwise wait until they eventually bring it to PC, because they will, but it'll be a rather quiet release no doubt.

Just buy what you want... if you really want to play those exclusives and you also happen to have friends on a particular platform than you have no choice than to adopt that platform, or you could just learn to live without those few exclusives. It's up to you.

It's a shame many of these games aren't cross platform compatible, otherwise it'd be fine. Just get whichever will allow you to enjoy yourself more. If you prefer going solo and don't care for socialising with friends, you just want the power, get the PS4. If you enjoy gaming with friends and don't really care about performance if you are having fun, then get the Xbone.

Buying a console to get an exclusive just encourages that practice. Hell I'd love to play halo 4 (5, whatever one their on now) but I refuse to buy another console, it's a waste of money and not worth the 1 or 2 games I'd like to play, either in money or in encouraging them to further ruin the gaming industry.

I agree, I am a gamer because I love it.  I am a PC gamer but also have many consoles dating back to the NES and love them. 

 

There is no shame in enjoying console gaming as well.

Consoles are a sinking ship. Consoles are regressive too. Why would you opt for a machine which you can't upgrade, is already outdated and barely has any interesting games? Master Chief collection? Oh boy, paying more money for games that I already have? Paying more money instead of plugging in my other machine which only became retro less than a year ago?
