For the hard armor numbers, a default vest halves any incoming damage to the area it coveres, and a chest only vest devides it by 2.6, with the 20% armor bonus to critical areas it effectivly thirds the critical hit damage (default unarmored damage is 600, default armored 300, chest only 200, on females anyway, on males chest only would be 240)

I've been thinking aboit 2 things, balancing and gameplay.

Balancing because of the hitbox difference between genders, and gameplay difference between genders.

For the balance i've decided that the female will be 5' 6" and the male will be 5' 10" (approximately a 6-7% difference) so thefemale will get approximately 7% less health (female gets 480, male gets 520)

Now for gameplay differences, so we have a reason to play both.

Female has a 20% armor bonus to critical (head, chest) areas (meaning armor is more useful in those areas)

At the cost of a 20% armor defficiency to non-critical (Stomach, arms, legs) areas (meaning armor is less useful in these areas)

I really dont like the random chance of bleeding out after bandaging, it should just take longer (the bandaging) the worse the wound is. You'd actually have a use for a medic then.

Edit: Sorry for the misspellings, i'm on mobile.

This could work i guess :p but I still think having a small percentage chance, maybe 1-2%, of surviving without a bandage or dying after a bandage would add more realism. Even if there is nothing like that I think having your body "degrade" as you get shot/bandaged makes sense and prevents people from going on massive killstreaks and would add subtle but noticeable balancing meaning that 10 noob players facing 2 experienced players (medic + assault) wouldn't get wiped because they could simply damage the assault until the point that healing is useless down to degradation of the assault player's body, even if it's a small percent (.5% health decrease per bandage) it could make a big difference.

TressFX Everything. If it's flexible, tressFX.

It is however also very taxing so the more things we devote to TressFX the lower fps people will get while running it :p especially with cards <7850

Of course thes numbers are from the defalt assault rifle stats, so I'll go over the customization for that.

Magazine (upgrade at cost of calbre)

Calibre (upgrade at cost of magazine)

Rate of fire (upgrade at cost of accuracy)

Accuracy (upgrade at cost of rate of fire)

Stat - Max/Default/Min

Magazine - 60/40/20

Damage - 600/400/200

RoF(1) - 1000/800/600

CoF(2) - 30*/20*/10*

(1)Rate Of Fire

(2)Cone of Fire (dissaccuracy)

*Degrees

I know what I want the gun to look like, I'm just bad at drawing on PC.

There's a more effecient algorithm in the works, should be done by the time we actually start.

Hmmmm... I guess :p, what do you think of the body degradation?

Could work, maybe make it visible with armor degradation? Maybe make peices of armor chip off with every impact? All the way down to the underwear undermeath, in which you have no damage reduction.

And the fps reduction from tressFX? Just have an option to turn it off, meaning no boob physics (lol, you were all thinking it), but no fps lag either.

I believe many would sacrifice fps for them boobs :p

I dabbled with K3D and blender, but I stink terribly. About the only thing I can make is minecraft textures, and the occasional star wars battlefront map.

I messed with Cinema 4D for a bit and making a W@W map but that's pretty much it ._. modelling is difficult xD we're not gonna be able to start till we get one really.

Plot Part 2

*BOOM*

The truck infront of you blows up

*BOOM*

Your truck blows up and you are thrown out.

"Wake up, you alive? We're under attack!"

You open your eyes everything is a bit blurry.

"How many fingers am I holding up?" Mason asks

"83" You say

"Get up" mason says as he hands you a pistol

*end of cutscene, start of combat tutorial*

Location, enemy, what type of truck? Just questions to get some extra info.

Location: somewhere in american wasteland

Enemy: the other world power(probably a pan asain group)

Type of truck: Deuce 'n' a half type troop carrier.

sounds good. The midwest may workout as good place for that.
