wow and just an hour ago i decided to change to AMD lol, i dont understand AMDs naming very well so is there a 8 core version? 

i5 3570 | MSI GD-65 Gaming | OCZ Vertex 60gb ssd | WD Green 1TB HDD | NZXT Phantom | TP-Link Wifi card | H100 | 5850

Well at least there's even more options for HTPCs etc and speaking of which  I'm actually looking to build one haha

The announced CPUs are intended for the mobile market - laptop, tablets etc. So i don't think you will need one of these.

Sorry if my English is not perfect, but it isn't my native language :)

they have been showing off these chips for a while. I believe since ces

(1) high frame rate (2) ultra graphics settings (3) cheap...>> choose only two<<...

 

if it's never been done then i'm probably tryna do it. (((((((Bass so low it HERTZ)))))))

you will most likely see the new cpu line in around november. hopefully that is. markets are always doing things to screw up dates.

So they have made a CPU that users less power, can they make one that heats up less. Because my laptop is always thermal throttling and it is a bitch.

By the way, go easy Grammar Nazis I'm dyslexic;'#';[p#'; (I'm pretty sure a full stop should go there somewhere :D)

a cpu that is more power efficient also by nature has a lower thermal envelope. it draws less wattage, and more efficiently using the energy being used. that means there will be less excess (heat)

Hopefully AMD will start to really push Intel again. Perhaps crush them like the original FX days.

why are they stupid for making CPUs target specifically at the mobile market, a market that has overtaken desktops and one in which they've been lagging behind? 

I was joking because i wanted a new CPU for my build :D
