it has wheels but the separate image is too many megabytes for one post, they’re fine, rear wheel needs nothing, front wheel needs the bearings repacked with grease

cantilever brakes, levers, shifters are all toast

crankset could use a new middle chainring but it’s fine otherwise, headset needs to be repacked with grease, seatpost is seized, the seat is ass tier (pun not intended), bottom bracket needs to be replaced

amongst many other things

Apcom WAMJHJ-8125MNG

in  other words the cheapest managed 8 port 2.5G + one 10G switch money can buy. So generic the web interface is labeled "switch" without the company name mentioned.

image.png.5b2617f17ce9fe06a6fc0d1623dd6641.png

Some 3d-printing upgrades:

- 80W heater cartridges for one of the toolchanger to get quicker from standby to active temp; reducing print time.

- BTT RRF wifi to add the duet web interface to the SKR v1.3

- Mellow fly RRF E3 mainboard/controller: Transitioning the last printer (from Marlin) to RRF ("duet" firmware).

Surprised to win an auction for a BCN3D Sigma for around $100.  Very exciting as this will be my first IDEX (independent dual printhead) printer.

People never go out of business.

There’s been a welcome flood of these types of network devices recently, what other equipment are you planning on running with this? I’d like to move most of my stuff to 2.5gb, and I am building an opnsense router with a dual SFP+ 10gb Intel card to run one or two unmanaged 2.5/10gb switches like the one you bought.

I know SFP+ equipment can be finicky with the direct-attach cables you use.

My Current Setup:

AMD Ryzen 5900X

Kingston HyperX Fury 3200mhz 2x16GB

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

EVGA G3 750W

Corsair Carbide 300R

Arctic Fans 140mm x4 120mm x 1

This is at home and the only device benefiting from the bandwidth is the NAS and cameras. In the future the list might grow.

At the moment 2.5G is the sweet spot: 10G consumes significantly more power but the 4x in transfer speed isn't that beneficial to me at the moment.

Buy the managed version. It was just $10 more and iit has VLAN, port isolation, and more.

I think I just bought a GTX 1650 for $55 shipped. Honestly I'm not entirely sure what I bought. If it is a 1650 I'm probably going to give it to a friend for their PC to replace the GTX 950.

Seems to be a Radeon 7 360 from 2015, about half as powerful as a GTX950...

You get display outputs I guess

Oh. Well if that's the case I'll send it back for wrong item description, clearly says GTX 1650 in the ad twice and 4GB as well. Thought I snagged a deal waiting at the airport.

as far as i'm aware XFX haven't made nvidia GPUs since the GTX2XX days.  Not for public release at least.  I'd like to see what GPUZ makes of it before you send it back 🙂

Yeah I'm betting that they were just keyword spamming or pasted the wrong thing. Messaged them to just cancel it if it's not actually a GTX 1650.

From the looks of things, the seller just doesn't have a clue since they state that the card is compatible with an AGP 1.5v slot when the card is clearly PCIe.

Yeah, I've ran into listings like that before with bad copypasta. Oh well, I'll update what happens either way.

Wonder if it's eBay's shitty new "let AI generate my listing" feature at play and going completely wild as a result of the seller having typoed the title...

There’s like a dozen other things in this listing that say its not a 1650.
Like the GDDR3 memory, multiple times it says R370, the fact XFX hasn’t done nvidia cards in over a decade.

the fact that it looks like a Radeon R7 370 by XFX

IMG_2314.thumb.webp.12b9285bfb84e6fcbc4964abd03db8b9.webp

Ebay has had this thing which fills in details from other listings for a while, I think the seller just spammed the button to check any of it after making a typo in the model name.

Yeah not gonna argue, I was getting off a flight and it popped up in an email so I thought I was getting a deal walking through an airport on the eBay app. Meh, buyer protection for item not as described and send it back.

Trombone maintenance stuff. Flexible cleaner to clean the inside of the instrument, grease for the tuning slides and lube for the big slide.

image.thumb.jpeg.e6d482016d1ec16c6e2cfddb0f02d7f6.jpeg

Cables. Since I got the Kemper amp, I only used it with headphones. I look forward to rip apart my desk, redo all the cable management and put these cable in there as well. The speaker cable goes from the Kemper to my 4x12 cabinet and the XLR cables go from the Kemper to my audio interface. I'll mostly record the guitar through those XLR cables, but maybe I'll try to record from the cab with my mics sometime too. Honestly though, I just want to jam out on the Kemper with my cab, I like that better than through headphones.

I have my 2-channel system sorted in my room, but I have a home theater setup in the living room that needs a CD player, so off to eBay I went.

Picked-up an older Philips CDC-935 5-disc changer for a song, even has coaxial digital out so I can use the DAC in my receiver. This will mostly be to have something playing while I cook, so not a real critical music experience, but being able to queue-up a few hours of CDs is nice. Seller says it’s tested and working.

It is a somewhat risky purchase because it’s being shipped, but eBay offered a 2-year warranty for $5, so it’s covered. Less than $50 shipped with warranty, which is cheaper than a thrift store around here and that has basically no guarantee.

I'm not sure what the hell is going on with this other than they're hoping to scam someone. They immediately accepted my return.

HOW THE HECK DOES AND WHY WOULD A HEAT PIPE GO MISSING FROM THE COOLER! 😧 I'm not even putting this in a slot, not risking a motherboard over it.

I needed a new external hard drive for backups, so I bought an internal SSD (Crucial P3 Plus) and an enclosure to put it in. I could have just gotten an external HDD for a bit cheaper, but after I learned about making your own external drive from an LTT vid, I thought it was really cool. And this is so fast (especially compared to the flash drives and old HDDs I had been using for backup).

Cheap Chinese Birthday prezzy to myself.  I knew it was a mistake getting my Nephews old RC car up and running XD

It's a ZD Racing Pirates 3 BX-8E #9020.  As you can see from the 'Hot' glue I've already taken it out and broken it XD  Parts are quite easy to find though and are dirt cheap from AliExpress so I have replacements AND spares on the way.  I bought it 'Rolling' not RTR so I added a Surpass Hobby 150A ESC and RocketRC by Surpass 4068 2650Kv brushless motor.  A 31Kg all metal servo. I'm using my DumboRC DDF-350 10 channel controller paired to a DumboRC XF6G receiver.  Powering it all is a CNHL G+ Plus 70C 5000MaH 4S Lipo.  Very happy so far 🙂

Rough pic of it next to my Nephew's old basher for comparison 🙂

I've had the same enclosure for a while, definitely solid. I added a thermal pad to the lid for a little bit of extra cooling.
