I didn't know about that or I might have tried it, what I planned on doing was just putting a 120mm on the NH-l9i but I mis-measured the height it would be and it didn't clear my RAM, so I picked up some longer screws and attached the adapter to the 92mm fan that comes with the cooler and then attached the 120mm on top of that so it would clear my RAM. I have some pictures in my gallery, not of the cooler itself but of the look afterwards when it was installed which was what I was going for.

Why did you go with a flat cooler now days especially with a case that big?

Well I originally planned on an H100i in the planning phase of my build but life issues made me cut costs so I ended up with a CM V8, while effective it was enormous and made cleaning a pain so after awhile I decided that I would just get a smaller cooler since I was done with overclocking. I bought a 212 Evo but after 2 months I hated it because it looked like crap compared to the rest of my components. I looked around and really couldn't find anything that had a look that matched my rig's aesthetic so after endless hours of browsing Amazon I found that tiny Noctua cooler, I liked the look of it but I hated the color of the included fan after looking for a replacement 92mm fan I discovered that the pickings were slim, while I was looking at server grade 92mm fans I saw the adapter at the bottom of the page under suggested items and I decided to just add that to the Noctua cooler and use an extra Corsair SP120 I had because I liked the look of it.

The Bellerophon (8/20/2013) Pic#2

Under the SP120 and the adapter is the original Noctua 92mm fan, in additon to everything else I wrapped it in etape to cover the brown uglyness and made my own foam spacers to dampen any possible vibration and put them between the adapter and the 92mm fan.

I died a little inside when I found out.

I know those feels D: I'm waiting on a monitor. I've been sitting at my desk with one ear unplugged from headphones waiting for the doorbell :P The other day some of my mum's cards arrived in a monitor shaped box. I rushed down and opened it really fast only to be greeted with greetings cards and wrapping paper D:

why is that hated by most people?

Basicly:

- problems with wake up from sleep

- BIOS wont allow to overclock

- No Wi-FI

- Price over the top beating P8Z77-I Deluxe (that one got wi-fi)

- Instability after overclocking

and many more. Its how people see and talk about it. Im an asshole and bought this sexy girl for 70 bucks from a dude who bent the pins in old one and he got new one directly from EVGA HQ in Germany and that one is in my rig. Shows that reviews and user comments can be bullcrap. Love the board and with future rebuild with all black layout she will fit nice.
