Shiny silver rectangle in a PC that is supposed to be all black with yellow accents?

It basically draws your eyes to it and not all the other good looking parts, since the silver stands out so much.

 it's UV yellow, which I thought it would only be UV reactive under a UV light, but for some reason it like always is.. 

 

 

I should of got the matte yellow from the get-go, but I thought the brighter yellow wouldn't be so dam bright (as it was on the website)

UV reactive colours react slightly under blue or white lights, because blue or white lights emit ultraviolet light waves, not just visible light.

UV lights emit only ultraviolet light waves (with a little purple of course) but mostly no visible light.

Good news, I put my 900D on ebay and it is getting hits like mad and has one bid for $115 + shipping already, 9 people are watching it so hopefully it sells quickly and for more than $150.

 

 

If I absolutely have to I may sell my o2 + odac for the custom loop money, so I can watercool my 290x ASAP.

I may also sell my xbox 360, seeing as I don't use it whatsoever.

He uses mine instead so he doesnt have to deal with that.

I was in a car accident awhile back that messed up my back really bad, the money was from a settlement from that.

 

My parents stole like $8000 of the settlement that I wanted to save and invest in stocks to make more money, and they have only paid back a small sum of that. (only like $1k)

 

 

Turns out my savings account was linked to my moms bank acc, (they neglected to tell me that) and next thing I knew, the entire sum of my settlement was gone.

Good news is I may be able to watercool sooner after all, I forgot that due to me having the cables + waterblock for 290x already that I don't have to come up with an extra $350.

 

 

I did the list of parts on performance PC's, and it's only $550  I already have $130 + the ~150 from my case will come in soon, then after I get rid of a few other things I should be able to get everything soon.

 

 

How much do you think I could sell the xbox 360 for? I think it has a 250 or 500 gb HDD as well as 2 controllers and black ops 2.

I've gotta go to bed now though, just worked for 12+ hours straight outside in 100 degree weather,(6 am to just now 9 PM) don't feel so great.

 

May make more progress on the build this week if I ever get a freaking break from volunteer work for my grandparents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Worked all day yesterday too doing the same stuff, then I get home and asked the people on MY teamspeak to please not poke me if I'm in the AFK channel because I'm sleeping because it sometimes turns my monitor on from sleep.

 

(I run the TS as a courtesy in the first place, but apparently nobody appreciates it enough to let me sleep after a 12 hour day)

 

I told them when I sleep I'm closing the client and leaving the server up, and if I forget to close the client and someone wakes me up I'm banning em for 24 hours.

After my 900D sells I'm looking at buying a new amp for my LCD-2's off a few recommendations from reddit+head-fi + a few other random google searches.

 

I should be getting rid of the rest of my junk to finish the build soon.

 

Good news is my cables should show up in early september hopefully, so I can make it look all perty.

Lays is my tag I go by online so I just added it to my first name for when I can't get "Lays" as a username, I use darrenlays / laysdarren instead.

 

(last name does start with an L though)

 

 

Having some issues with the LN2 bios on my card, it blue screens when I boot with the LN2 bios activated.  Contacted the guy I bought it from, will ask him what I should do, since he's been helpful with all my questions so far.
