8/10

Solid (not excellent) CPU. SSD is good, great overall cooling system, but the choice of your storage drives seems questionable. Same opinion on the video card, good but not great. Needs a 970. :P

Mine is in my profile, though I expect an even lower score, if nothing else, due to my mediocre PSU.

Personally, since I just came off a 6 year old HP laptop, to me your setup isn't terrible. The CPU is a little old, but there's enough ram, a decent GPU and an SSD boot drive (i assume). 7.5/10 If the CPU was a little newer and there was 16GB ram, it'd be an 8.

My setup is a very recent (as in it was built 2 weeks ago, been in my hands and running since last night) laptop from Cyberpower. Specs are in my signature.

Current Rig: ASUS Prime Z390-P, Core i7 9700k, 48GB DDR4 3200 G.Skill Ripjaws V RAM, EVGA RTX 2080 Super Black, 512 GB NVME SSD boot drive, 2TB HDD, 360mm CoolerMaster MasterLiquid AIO, 1200W Rosewill Photon power supply

Former Rig (RIP 11-29-19): Cyberpower Fangbook 4 Xtreme   CPU: Intel i7-6700K   GPU: Nvidia 980m 8GB   RAM: 24GB DDR4 2133   SSD: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO   Main Drive: 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 300

Solid laptop mate. Maybe a bit heavy but overall a great rig.  Maybe look into some external cooling but thats it. 9/10 (keyboard looks ugly)

This system is a older, but im holding off on upgrades until the new architectures drop, and the storage choice, minus the ssd, is simply because those drives were lying around lol.

Solid build for playing most games at 1080p, but you could do with more power for that sexy Acer Predator X34 display. Peripherals are nice, although I don't really like Razer keyboards. 7/10.

Stock cooler with an AMD chip is risky in my humble opinion. Graphics looks good. Your monitor is bigger than my 17" (so jealous)

My HDD is over 10 years old, I got into looking for an SSD and saw linus tech on youtube. I love his videos. My headset has broken and is taped together... this is the 2nd pair of turtle beaches, its getting old. Why do they make them so flimsy.

I have a link to CPUZ and its also in my bio if you dont wanna look through the long cpuz thingy.

Decent as long as you didn't pay too much for it. Still better than a console for sure.

Specs and pcpartpicker link in my sig.

I could run most anything a year ago maxed at 1440p over 60fps. The newer AAA games (Rise Tomb Raider, GTA V, TW3) are starting to become a challenge, having to compromise on settings to keep in decent fps range. G-sync on my monitor helps with smoothness at least in the 40fps range.

7.5/10. CPU & RAM + storage, just get the job done, but the GPU is such a beast that it bumps the score up a ton.

(Early 2017 is the time I have set to finish this PC [February 1st])

Last modifications to this PC, it is an amalgamation of new and old components right now for my current build, but all old parts are being fully fazed out.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CYnTdC (Wrong link derp)

This build is the last one for 2016 through 2018 and will only be redone when needed in small increments.

Monitors will change to a 1080p 144Hz Dual Display system when possible.

RAM will only change when they die (I am switching up to 16GB from 8 since I am running a lot of taxing programs in the foreground and background).

GPU will be replaced once every 2 full years if needed. (Is iffy I would like to wait and see what card would be the best, but I will always go back to this if none would be price to performance compatible to me)

CPU WILL be replaced within another 1 1/2 years or if it dies (WILL be replaced at the end of this year, it is well past its life cycle of 3 years of heavy usage PC was on 24/7 for about somewhere round 1 month at a time, with a few power outages occurring)

Motherboard will stay until it either dies or needs replacement into a new system (like the current CPU line for Intel Skylake/Skylake-E or whatever Intel will come up with next for 1151).

M.2/SSD Will stay till they need to be replaced and only then, may actually buy a standard SSD as well for multi role use for games and programs that slowly start)

HDD Is and probably will be upped to 3TB if needed

Rate it, OK? Good? Great? Amazing? Uselessly overpriced xD?

9/10 I guess. It's a million times better than what I have. Only reason it's not 10/10 is because 100% efficiency is currently impossible 9_9.

Mine's in my sig. Cheap/ second hand parts until I can find employment. I have a few options. I could fully upgrade around my current motherboard getting the best Xeon that will fit in my older socket and slap a modern high end GPU. Any upgrades might have to wait until atleast late this year though so I can examine the new Zen architecture/CPUs to see whether it would be competitive or not. I'd love to have another full AMD build and I'm rooting for them to do well, but if Intel's option at the same price range is still better I probably won't hesitate to continue on the blue path as far as CPUs go.

i give this machine a 4/10 because of the GPU...it's extremely weak...the CPU is decent and you have a good amount of RAM and i would only consider a GPU upgrade if you're a gamer you'd realise your ivy-bridge core i5 CPU can handle pretty much any game at a very decent level...a good choice would be for example a 4GB R9 380 from AMD.
