What tech company do you dislike?

emachado99

Hey,

Just wondering if you guys hate a certain or a few tech companies?

Mine would be Seagate. I have had 1 drive fail on me with my current drive on the way out, and my uncle has had 3-4 Seagate drives fail on him, but we have hadn't a problem with Western Digital... So I know who I won't be going with next time!

Anyways, post yours down below :D

This is some nice contrast to the "What tech company do you love" thread.

"How hard can it be?" - Jeremy Clarkson

"Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you." - Jeremy Clarkson

"There's an old saying that God exists in your search for him. I just want you to understand that I ain't looking." - Leslie Nielsen

Do you have any idea of what you could cause by saying that?

I just hate alien-ware...and Microsoft. Not so tech companies would be EA and Ubisoft.

I think hate is a very strong word haha. I think we should make it distrust or don't understand why they are so loved and liked.

For me and the last couple years i know it is generic but it's apple. Yes they have been getting better the last couple years and yes their products are very well built and beautiful. They are still ludicrously expensive for what you get. General apple users seem to lie to themselves to the grade of performance of their products. (this is mainly laptops/desktops. iphones kick ass no matter what people say)

A company I don't understand the hate towards is razer : /

My Rig "Corsair air 540, MSI Z87-G45, i5 4670k, EVGA ACX 780, Gskill sniper 2x8gb 1866 memory, Corsair CX500m modular 80+ bronze, corsiar h100i, toshiba 1.5tb HDD." / Peripherals "Acer H226HQLbid Black 21.5" (Main monitor), Acer S200HLAbd Black 20" (auxiliary), Razer blackwidow ultimate 2013, razer naga 2013, razer goliathus 444x355 speed edition, Sennheiser HD8 DJs"

You want a flame war i'll give you a flame war. I've used CPUs from both companies over the course of 8 years and I have had nothing but wonderful enjoyable experiences from both companies products. BAM get wrecked.

Razer - I Don't hate the products but they rip the balls out of their pricing.

Dell Alienware - Far to expensive for what they put inside them

EA - Just all about the money

Microsoft - Recently lost their minds and forgot that PCs exist making all their tablet friendly metro interface crap

I don't hate any companies really but if I had to pick one I boycott Samsung and have done for a long time. The CEO is shady/criminal and shouldn't hold the position he does.

I'll be boycotting Ubisoft too but at this stage I just laugh at them for the mess they made.

Apple

Ubisoft

EA

Alienware

Beats

Samsung's mobile sector, I actually like most other things they do a lot.

Probably razers peripherals (now I've seem a blade in person, I think I'm in love) as well as any high street pc maker (acer, dell, asus, Lenovo) when they make a prebuilt "gaming pc" for example http://www.johnlewis.com/asus-rog-tytan-g30ab-desktop-pc-intel-core-i7-8gb-ram-2tb-32gb-ssd-black/p1429310

Seagate, Alienware, and Razer are the worst things on planet Earth. Seagate hard drives aren't built to be hard drives, they're built to fail and make you angry. Razer and Alienware are overpriced piles of garbage that only appeal to tryhard "gamers" who want to look cool while they play League of Legends or Minecraft.

The only one I would say I hate is Apple, but only for their pricing. It's like Jeremy Clarkson's view on the Porsche Cayman "I think the styling looks too like a 911. However, everything else is pretty much perfect," (Top Gear World's Greatest Road trip special).

I haven't been in to tech stuff for long enough to decide who I would not purchase from.I don't think I'll purchase from Razer anymore after I upgrade my keyboard and mouse.

Sorry if the font is weird, I'm posting from my HTC one (m8).

"You Can't Buy Happiness, But You Can Buy Horsepower, And That's Kind of The Same Thing."

You can't go around saying that you're better because you aren't, no questions asked, Intel is far superior in every way.

You said we don't go around saying AMD is better like Intel people do for Intel. Or am I misunderstanding?
