Titan not nay more on the market

Hello
so 5 or 6 mothns ago i bought a Nvidia GTX Titan
that time Black and Z wasnt released but only anounced
so i just went with the titan to be sure that i can sli in the future and i can keep a rig for years because its a very powerfull graphic card
So i just had enough money to get another one to sli but it isnt anywhere more on the market
i dont want to use a used one because i dont know how and how much did the previus owner used it.
And the question is can i sli a titan with a titan black?
I know titan black has a couple more cuda cores who is this gonna affect my computer
i searched in nvidia's forums but i cant take a clear answer
Community said no
Nvidia said yes
What can i do now:/

*sorry for my poor english*

No, they cannot have differing core amounts. A Titan can only be paired with another Titan and not a Titan Black, it would seem that your only option is to buy used or hope that a new one pops up somewhere for a reasonable price.

It's likely that the OP bought it when it launched or a short time after which would mean that the 780 Ti wasn't out.

The next best thing was a 680 or a 7970.

Selling it and waiting for Maxwell would be a good choice becauseof how much efficient Maxwell is going to be

It's not a bug, it's an undocumented feature!

Ohai @Lays !

I guess so, but his best option would just be to find one locally (unless the prices are that much lower in the US).

Well considering he lives in greece it may be hard to find other people with titans, as they're probably extremely inflated on prices etc.

It may be a better to buy one on ebay or reddit/r/hardwareswap, etc, then pay the $150 to ship it to him

also hi @Cacao
