H100i Not turning on 100% of the time

2 of 4 times I turn on my computer my H100i turns on, then turns off. I know this because the led is one then it is off and it makes a weird noise.

Assuming you have all the power cables and fan headers plugged in correctly, there's a hardware issue. RMA if you can.

EDIT: @Enderman says there might be a firmware fix on the corsair forums.

You have to update the firmware. There are links in the corsair forums, just google it and it should show up. Use corsiar link V2 to update the firmware.

PS. Don't RMA until you have tried updating the firmware. Usually this fixes 99% of all problems, but many people are too stupid to know how to update the firmware. My H100i had firmware messups several times, but updating the firmware made it work perfectly again. Luckily Corsair is nice enough to not reject people's RMAs when really all it is is a firmware update.

The firmware I am using is v1.05 http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=115836

But since then a new version 1.07 has been released http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=118867

I heard from someone who updated to 1.07 that their temps increased for some reason, idk if it is for everyone or just him, but I know 100% that the 1.05 works, so try the latest one, and if it doesnt work downgrade to the v1.05

I just rma'd it since it was running hotter than my single 120mm rad. I replaced it with a H105 from Corsair so hopefully it'll help.
