So the Nepton 280L is the best AIO in a lot of AIO comparisons, but wouldn't the Eisberg 240L be better?

It has copper fins vs the 280L's aluminum fins and square fans to provide a better seal.

Is there a reason why people don't use the 240L more other than the price being $160? Does anybody own one? What are your idle and load temps?

The 280L has more surface area, using dual 140MM fans instead of dual 120MM fans, so I presume it negates the round fans.

The 280L is bigger, that's why it performs better. Dual 140mm in the 280L and dual 120mm in the 240L.

I would go for t he 280L, only because @CM Norumu is watching me :-:

He can also help you with your question more.

I know the 280 is bigger but I didn't think 40mm more surface area would give it that much more performance. I couldn't find any comparison with both the 240L and the 280L in it.

@Shd0w2 haha, hopefully I'll get an answer from him then.

You're doing things wrong. The difference in area is 10400 (104cm2) square millimeters, wich is quite a big difference.

I see, oke. Well here's hoping that Cooler Master makes a 280L Prestige or something with copper fins and square fans, surely it would be the best 280mm AIO on the market. For the fans I guess one could just pop two A14's on it and call it a day.

Price is extremely powerful. Also, the Eisberg aimed at more mod-friendly, but that design idea has effectively been replaced by the Glacer 240L, as its generally friendlier to custom users.

Also, we've learned from our Seidon and Eisberg, and the Nepton design shows that in both aesthetics and performance. :)
