For my new build I don't want to skimp on anything. I want to make it as fast as I can. What are the parts I should not skimp on to make the PC faster and more responsive?

Definitely the SSD. RAMdisk if you have enough.

An SSD would suffice. But if you want to trump that, go with a PCIe SSD or regular SSDs in RAID 0.

A powerful Central Processing Unit. This is just a bit more important than an SSD.

i think you mean a solid state drive ?
