Though, I dont think it touches on the glaring plot holes that Bioshock Infinite is filled with.

What's wrong with CS:Source? It being a completely different experience from CS1.6 is not a disappointment. Hitboxes on the other hand were, but they were fixed. It is still a great game and should have its own sequel since CS:GO is pretty much the sequel to CS1.6 and not CS:Source.

 

If you enjoyed the game then more power to you, but coming from 1.6 it was very sad to see how much the game play in source changed. The recoil for most riffles was gone or left very minimal and the fact that you could not spam walls  left a very bitter impression for me (granted i only played for maybe a few weeks before going back to 1.6). CS:GO is more like a hybrid between the two games where it gives you a bit from each but not a complete 1.6 remake. 

 

Again this is just my opinion  :D

OK BioShock 2 didn't have the best story but it had slightly better game play. Far Cry 2 on the other hand was a great game!

Metro: Last light, if you didn't pre order the game, they've taken out the ranger mode and put it on a dlc for 5$ with just only the mode and in game items. it really sucks because metro:2033 have that game mode.

Im going to wait for a steam sale before paying for last light, seriously pulling this shit on a highly anticipated game is a bad move, for me they've EA'd it

I would say that Metro Last Light to me felt like a more solid game then the first game. Which may or may not be saying much. Plus I wouldn't pay retail for this game anyway either get it on steam sale or do what I did and look for a ebay sale for the code with a nvidia card promo. I got mine for 20 bucks :D

Halo 4.

Halo Reach was disappointing enough, but Halo 4 just took the biscuit. I could rant for hours about how soul shatteringly disappointing it was...

I think it's a good game but it's not a good Halo game.

I can't admit that it's even a good game. They sacrificed everything that made Halo interesting to me in the quest for prettier graphics. Which is ironic because outside of the campaign the graphics were only better for the lighting and shadows. The model and texture quality in Halo 4 is on par at best with Reach and occasionally quite a lot worse.

 

343 recently admitted that some of the people working on the game were not Halo fans. In fact, they hated Halo. Yet they were given the opportunity to shape the next game in the franchise.

 

Sigh. All of these things add up, and are the reason I am abandoning the Xbox 360. I'm tired of being disappointed and annoyed by Microsoft's actions or inactions. :(

This is a hard one I am too accepting of garbage and try to find the good in stuff. But I guess the game in recent memory that pissed me off was Diablo 3 my friend and I pre-ordered and bought it in store (I like to have hard copies of the games I like) and to start with the server issues for the first 7 hrs of release fail. Then everything about D1 & D2 that I loved and expected in D3 was missing and IMO dumb down for the masses. Yet I still played 100 plus hrs. Until Torchlight 2 came out. Oh yeah plus my pay pal got hacked because of D3 ugh.

Connor was not an interesting character & I found I didnt really end up caring about him and his story. Also doesnt make you feel like a BA assassin like Ezio did

Every Call of Duty after the first Modern Warfare, Bioshock 2, Street Fighter X Tekken (if that counts as a sequel), and Fallout: New Vegas.

 

They all have had great beginnings. Call of Duty should be evident to everyone.

Bioshock 2 was boring, uninteresting and didn't have good plot progression, making it seem that they just put puzzle pieces together that don't fit properly to make it.

SFxT had on-disk day-one DLC and overall couldn't hold up to SSF4 and Tekken 6 for the pacing and fighting style.

Finally, New Vegas had absolutely nothing that came close to how epic Fallout 3 was. It's a good game, just not nearly as great. Sure, the fighting system was better, but that doesn't make up for anything in my books.

The only thing that New Vegas had (when compared to Fallout 3) was the combat system and nothing else. Combat doesn't make a game--there's a lot more to it. I have 500+ hours in Fallout 3 and only 20 in New Vegas *hint* *hint*.
