This is the reson I watch on twitch....

I have no ad block. but for some reason, I have never had ads on Twitch. I have YouTube Premium but live on youtube sucks 

 

Just why is there so much wasted space?!?! I have not used float plane to be fair but I guess most people who watch use Twitch or YT

You know there are buttons to increase the size of the video or even go fullscreen? Check the buttons in the lower right hand corner of the video. You can also simply close that chat window.

Well this is the problem when you get an ultra wide monitor

Watch in cinema or fullscreen mode - problem solved. Imo YouTube's player is by far the best of all the current streaming platforms.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Now YT streaming in theatre mode has the "chat window" lastly visible on the right. For the longest it didn't have and I wonder why.
