Depends on the type of malware and how deep you let them go. In most cases, you can clean install Windows and be just fine. Imbedding malware into the UEFI or various motherboard component's firmware isn't common.

What are you talking about?

You don't replace any parts because you got a virus, that's not how they work.

What do you mean you reset your motherboard thing and virus protection is disabled?

Pictures and whatnot help 🙂

You need to reinstall Windows fresh.

Sounds like Windows is corrupt, or the virus changed management settings in an attempt to prevent you from removing it.

The vast majority of viruses don't infect the motherboard, SSD controller, or processor.

If Microsoft Defender and Malwarebytes don't get Windows clean enough for your comfort, back up your important documents, reformat your SSD, and install Windows from scratch.

Wipe the machine, the built in "Reset" in Windows is useless. Use another PC to build a Windows install USB using the official Media Creation Tool.

You need a spare USB stick, at least 8GB in size. Using another PC, download and run that tool with the USB stick inserted in the PC. It'll guide you through creating a bootable Windows install USB. Boot to it on the PC in question, follow the install and when you are asked where to install it, delete ALL the partitions and click Next.

Yes. An infected machine is not a good source to create the installation media from, otherwise it might become infected too

Formatting is the process of erasing all the data on a partition.
