Do I actually have to pay $139.99 USD for Windows 11 Home? Or is it also a safe bet to get Windows 11 Pro from sites such as G2A, for only $25?

OEM Keys work just fine. I bought a Windows 7 key for 17€ back in the day, then linked the license to my Microsoft account. I used this same key for W8, W10, and now also W11 because i always used the "free upgrade" time window. So i got 14 years of use out of it so far with no end in sight.

Supposedly new 7-8 OEM keys might not work for 10/11 anymore.

If you have another PC that you've logged into your Microsoft account with, you could always select the option "I changed hardware recently" when doing activation, which seems to work a couple of times. Depending on the key the previous machine had will depend on if it'll work or not.

I paid full price. So far I have used it for 5 months and paid on average €1/day for it. If we would expect same amount of usage for OS than for example GPU (which is 3 years before it becomes "too slow"), its far less paid for much more use.
