I'd cut out a few places here and there... 🙂

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

The grating at the front has a 140 mm space, and I'm going to need to cut a vent for the PSU. It's going to be... A journey. And I need to straight up build a new side panel.

I most definitely need to cut ventilation for the PSU, and I might re-do the brackets where my GPU will be. Maybe put a verticle and skip the step of putting together a new side panel.

Okay then you may make a sleeper but not a really strong one.  Coma may be a more apt name but not how you meant it 👍

It's actually a current design. Not really that old. Still sold today. This one just looks like it's been outside for a few days. 😉

it is NOT modern. I know what came out of it, and PC1 would not be in a current server.

the GPU brackets that won't be used will be a vent, or I'll install some exaust fans.

You can still make a decent themed build with it, even if it's still used today. "Sleeper" builds are about aesthetic, like how you can buy modern hifi that looks vintage, it's the look that makes the theme.

I hope the build goes well and you get what you want from it

problem with modren is the parts are normally way hotter  and not being able to cut most of the outside leave cooling a problem. ya you can put cooler modren stuff in them but most dont... not only that a problem of even fitting a gpu...

but we will just have to see i guess 🤷‍♂️
