Anyone having any luck with the $40 off code for the Ugreen Revedok Pro 13 in 1 hub? I'm only getting $10 applied which is not what they advertised...

This def. won't end like the tulip mania, they said while ordering all Gerolsteiner bottles available in their local stores to sell it to PC builders in Canada that watched this LTT video...

I remember der8aur reviewing this case a year ago and it being terrible. This seems like it has a completely different radiator, did they change it?

It must feel sad tearing it all down 10 minutes after the shooting is over, I actually really liked the case

I thought so too, but from looking at it a few things must have changed a few things between his first and second video:

Most fun moment for me was seeing Gerolsteiner as the most expensive water they could find. Guess half of Europe is now buying this stuff and reselling in Canada. Though I would say: just ship the bottles and use local water 😉

Maybe I'm the odd one out, but I don't see the appeal in videos like this. Was anybody in doubt you can spend an obscene amount of money on a PC if that's your only goal? When people post "fantasy meme build" lists on the forums, they get deleted because they're stupid and boring. This type of content is one step above the gold Xbox controller, although I guess they didn't actively make this worse by spending a lot of cash.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Because it's fun! Does there have to be a better reason?

I like seeing high end systems, but only if the budget and parts chosen for the budget are somewhat sensible. I guess if anything, it follows LTT's "Compensator PC" trend in which case, yeah, it has been a while since Compensator 3.

You absolutely can go out and spend several grand on a PC, but it's not nearly as cool(to me) if you wasted half of it. Setting a high budget and using all of it practically is way more interesting.

I don't even mind projects being impractical if they're at least novel, seeing if they can get something to work. The multiple-editor-workstations-in-one-PC series would be an example of spending a ton of money on something impractical that was a cool challenge.

Overspending on a single PC that doesn't really perform any better than one which costs a fraction of the price? Ho-hum. Doesn't take any creativity or ingenuity. Give me the budget and I could do the same thing.

Absolutely, I've always enjoyed the videos where they get multiple users on one PC, even as far back as "2 gamers, 1 PC from 2014 or 15". I feel like I've started to fall away from the "enthusiast" space and deeper into the "tinkerer" space in the last few years, and the "here's a really cool idea, let's try and make it work" type of content. This is partly why I enjoy Apple mods, because Apple systems weren't designed for what people are doing to them, and it's a cool process that is usually documented very well.

I could do the same thing with the same budget, but I'd probably make it look cooler at least. /shrug

Yep, that's just regular water in Germany. Idk why it's so expensive in Canada.
