I have a wife that wants my main folding rig gone/downsized if it stays in the living room.. I've been told a "normal case that can be put behind the tv" is okay.

Yeah, why do you think I was always getting such low PPD with 2 1080s, a 2070 and a 3070 ti? It's better than how it was set up before. I sacrificed PPD for that.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

That's the plan.

@GOTSpectrum This was the first 2 steps on my entrance to Folding.

Nice plex rig/nas that pulled double duty.

To make a machine small enough for "behind the TV",  might have to be a 4090 FE.

I'd actually like to find a relatively thin case myself for a foldbox, possibly wall mountable.  Would be kind funny to dot a few around the house like those down-firing fan heaters.  F@H with zone control LOL.

As for those 4070 Tis, apparently NVIDIA aren't making those chips any more as they are moving on to the 4070 Ti SUPER, so lets hope INNO3D switch to that model.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) + GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)

Wall mountable would be a no for me.

Actually the Zotac AMP 4070tis I have work just fine in 3-slot spacing. Only about 5mm gap between the cards but if you run them power of clock-limited the lower runs at 48-53C and the upper at 68-72C. Removing the back plate on the lower card would widen that gap another 2-3mm and should improve things.

The Asus ProArt 4070tis (non OC) look to be about the same thickness as the Zotac and likely have better build quality but they weren't out when I bought the Zotacs

I've been running clock-limited since the start of the event. 2205MHz on Ada and 1440MHz on Turing.

Do you really want me to go to stock settings at this point? I'm pretty sure I could gain a rank that way.

If you're talking about that case, I'd have to dig around and find pictures with my build in it.

I've been running clock-limited since the start of the event. 2205MHz on Ada and 1440MHz on Turing.

Do you really want me to go to stock settings at this point? I'm pretty sure I could gain a rank that way.

Like I said - I'm fine with Lucky #7 I'm only running the Turing GPUs 16 hours on weekdays to avoid the really expensive Time-of-Use rates.

I wasn't planning to run the 3080 at all during the event, but we needed the heat.  Also why power limiting wouldn't make any sense.
