The server stats claim there is plenty of work, but the assignment server has gone AWOL.

 

Apparently rebooting was a bad idea, CPU job now wont start:

I guess I should have paused, seems Windows must not have waited for FAHClient to close cleanly and it corrupted the WU progress and has to request new WU now.

I think maybe ran out of Cancer WUs and there's a bug in the client where sometimes if you select a preference it wont assign anything else.

Taking a rather large PPD hit today since I went out and helped a bunch of kids at a local high school and needed my power folding machine...

 

For anyone curious, I am a FIRST Robotics mentor at a local high school, and I wanted to help get their minds into an engineering mindset to be ready for the upcoming season (if you have never been a part of FIRST, and have any interest in robots, photography, and graphics design and would like to help teach the next generation of a learners, I would 100/10 recommend. There is even a show on Disney+ called "More Than Robots" that goes over a bit of what we do).

And my 400 square foot basement is still 73 degrees freedom.

 

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed that there isn't more hardware tinkering to do. I chopped up a couple mounting brackets, threw together two R7910s, and then basically ignored them for the last three weeks. There's probably some efficiency left on the table (I'm still averaging 400 watts per chassis), but I don't want number to go down. 🫠

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
