I had a very small modicum of time and was curious on this. I did a basic search of the last 23 videos (going back for the month) on the main LTT channel (excludes live streams) for specifically videos that had comments with corrections attached, since this was one of the core elements called out. There was 2. So an error rate of 8.70%

 

Not a realistically fair assessment, since some videos are vlogs to do with the server in Linus' house. Obviously if someone wants to do a deeper dive to more on this for more videos or even in-video corrections - go for it and maybe I'll do it myself one day.

I'm baffled what you mean by 'should have planned better', if they send out a prototype to a large channel and they don't give it back and somehow, it's Billet Labs fault? If you lost a library book, is it the library's fault?

Even disregarding your complete lack of understanding of things, Based on your logic, LMG did satisfy "the deal".  BL offered the device for review with LMG free to keep it.  LMG did the review, and no messaging I have seen demonstrates that they agreed to do a well done review, just a review so yeah, its LMG to keep, by your logic. 

Did LMG agree to BL change of terms after the review, yes they did. 

Did they then screw up and sell it.  Yes they did. 

Was it stupid, yes, very much so.

No no, they lack planning, understandable for their size. First agreement was never to give it back, 2nd agreement was give it back. See lack of planning and I will also add lack of emotional restraint. Also lack of focus.

If the library initially said you could keep it and then asked for it back because you didnt like it (even if you read it backwards and upsidedown)....  Doesn't the library have a little responsibility for the loss of the book.  Also is the library REALLY that harmed if they initially planned on giving it away?

Very poor choice of example, but I will play. If Library said, you can keep the book, you really can. You can do whatever with it, burn it even. Happens more often than not. 

Libraries are part of greater academia, even public ones, they usually know the depth of a deal. Well they have books for it on their shelves.

To my understanding of the Billet Labs situation, they've asked for their block back since June, after LTT finished the vid. LTT kept saying they'll send it back and they didn't...until August, LTT then informed Billet Labs they've auctioned off the block. At that point, Billet Labs assumed it to be a lost cause and asked for compensation, which has been the same ever since. The first agreement had always been asking the block back, up until the auction.

As for the Madison allegations - unfortunately none of us will ever know. Its a quite serious subject and information on the matter will only be shared with those who need to know. But you need to remember that many people make baseless allegations against big companies and celebrities all the time to try and get money of them.

 

How many women have come forward with sexual assault allegations against rock stars this year alone? You realize in 99% of those situations that woman wanted it and asked for it, and then turn arounds and claims sexual assault later. We aren't stupid, we know better.

 

Just like how gashing your own leg open to avoid going to work is completely bulls*** and anyone who believes that needs to go back to school immediately. Wanna know why its BS?
