  1. 1. How often do you watch LTT? (Not counting the other channels only the main one)

    • EVERY. SINGLE. VIDEO.
    • Every Other Video (half the videos)
    • Twice a week (about a quarter of videos)
    • Once a week or Twice a month (1/7 and 1/14 of videos respectively)
    • Once a month or less (basically none)

I mostly use the forums for when I need troubleshooting, I haven't watched LTT in ages, at most once a month...

I was wondering about the other forum users.

Whenever they have something in store thats actually interesting. Thats why i checked out during late 2018-19 post Maxine departure because what i love in 2017 LTT was gone, the really tightly knit scripted video with clean demonstrative B-Roll. Honestly so far they havent captured that soul for me and the tight live shoot doesnt help at all, heavy claustrophobic vibe.

Depends what the videos are about.

I do not watch videos like the cooler master PC or AliExpress/wish things for example.

But I do watch and enjoy videos like the old storage sever they bought, or upgrading the internet with fiber for example. Or just silly things like the big powerful fan.

So in general I watch more than one video a week but not all of them.

my tastes have shifted over the years. graphics card reviews or pc builds don't really interest me unless there's something very novel about them, like that designer itx build from china. I do enjoy the smart home content though

Maybe I should have mentioned that while I don't watch LTT, I do watch (most) techlinked videos and from time to time tech quickie videos if they are about something I didn't already know and/or worthwhile to know about (which is not that often, but more often than LTT videos)

And I NEVER miss an upload of Channel Super Fun (RIP Berkel) and Linus Cat Tips (RIP Cats).

I'm still waiting for an Emily Linux Tips channel too, I'd watch the shit out of it.

multiple times a week, but not all of them.

The past 3 weeks :

Spoiler

image.png.938416e37b3ce457bb57f006d3558485.png

8 videos I didn't watch. 12 videos I did watch.
That's 2 out of every 5 videos I didn't watch.

I visit the secondary channels once in a while, but at a much lower frequency. Think 1 to 5 times a month.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

I'm surprised this topic/poll doesn't attract more people.

I guess either too busy watching said videos, or hasn't gone on Youtube in ages and just use forums.

I play 95% of the videos on the main channel.

But actually watching and paying close attention, maybe 10% and that's probably pretty good imo compared to other content.

I just wath him as entertainment on tech news.

I like computers. And watching them blow up while playing GTA 5. Remember to update to Windows 11! 😁
