Just figured out test drive unlimited 2 and also firefall both use a torrent system for patching.  so there's two more legal torrenting activities I am engaging in.

yeah i forgot to mention, World Of Tanks for the pc, the game launcher uses torrent, but cant be configured to use the standard ftp access

Windows 7.

 

 

I have the key, lost the stupid disk.

 

I also use it downloaded Windows OS's, as well as OSX when I'm not on my Macbook and want to try out a hackintosh/repair a dead mac.

 

Other than downloading OS's...

I used to get all my PC games that way; Now I have a job, and steam, so I just buy all my stuff now, it's usually easier. (unless uPlay is involved, or games for windows live....)

I've got a few console emulators using torrents, already owned a Wii, but wanted to play it while the living room was in use.

Same with GBA emulators, already had the console/games but wanted to play at x2 speed (+x2 exp gain) because grinding levels in pokemon is a royan pain in the ass!

 

Maybe some map packs and mods for various command and conquer games that I had bought.

 

That's about all I can think of.

 

Oh and back in the day, it was also where I found all the music.

Now I just have Spotify for that, much easier - plus I got a code for £30 for the year instead of £10 a month.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Windows Vista 32bit, like 3 months ago. Had the key, didn't have the disk.

And then the key didn't work for some unknown reason only known to Microsoft, even though it's a legit key, so I just cracked it afterward.

Not even sure why I even bother buying these OS when they refuse to install when I need them to... Even Win7 Ultimate, Retail, cost me $300+ at NCIX, I had formatted not long, windows refused the key, when I called in, they said the key was invalid... wow, thanks Microsoft, formatted liked 10 times in the years I've had it and it worked each time, but now that Win8 is out you refuse to activate it!? :angry:

So I just restored a backup and windows is still valid... <_<

 

Seriously can't wait for more games to come out on Linux... Because the day I get to ditch Windows will be a happy day indeed.
