Looking for a Camera

I am looking for a good mirrorless photography/videography camera.

I have some canon ef-s mount lenses and would like to be able to adapt them to the camera I choose. I would also like it to shoot in 4k/30p at least. My budget is $1000-2000(including lens adapter) but it is flexible. I am also a medium level photographer but would like to be able to become an advanced level one with this camera.

I'd look at canon r series. Something like a r10 seems like a good fit here, and you could go with a r8/r7 if you want to spend more.

My preference in order Fuji, Nikon, Canon (really depends on the model though).  I don't like Sony at all.  I upgraded my D7200 to an X-T4, it has been great.
