Supreme Commander Gold Edition $4.99 (Steam)

 

As the topic says Supreme Commander Gold Edition is on sale for $5 

 

It comes with both Vanilla Supreme Commander as well as it's expansion Forged Alliance.

 

 

While the Gas Powered Games severs went down a while ago; Multyplayer, mods and user created maps are all still alive and well with http://www.faforever.com.

 

FaForever provides a rather large community of players with ranking, new game modes as well  "Galactic War" seasons  (more info on that is available on the Faforever website). Faforever also provides bug fixes and patches as well as extended multiplayer or skirmish support up to 12 players (AI or human) and is very active over the weekends.

 

You will need to install and register for FaForever separately to have access to all of this but it is free and has worked well for me.

hows the second one compared to the first. 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

i bought it and played for 2 hours. i cant wait for the game grey goo to resurrect the RTS genre that i used to love back in the early command and conquer and supreme commander 1 days.

Playing Supreme Commander 2 is like being on fire while being force fed a bucket full of minced squirrel meat and cockroaches while being sodomized by a stack of phone books that have had shit smeared images of Rosie O'Donnell glued to every page with some hobo's dick cheese.
