Best headphones under $100

EL02

Ranked priorities:

1. Comfortability

2. Sound Quality

3. Wired/bluetooth doesn't matter

4. Mic/no mic doesn't matter

Even better if you suggest a pair you use daily with glasses on and don't cause pain.

I know they are renewed, but the Logitech G933/935 are the most comfortable headphones I have ever had. I wear glasses, and every other headset causes pain at the stems above my ears after hours.  I can do 10+ hours in the Logi G933 without any discomfort at all.  They are decent at sound, battery life, etc.

Maybe Philips SHP9500

Higly regarded by reviewers, I've never used personally.

I got a pair several years ago and I love them. Not as bass heavy as my Sennheiser HD 7 DJ's (not <$100), as the Senn's are closed back and more for the DJ booth (I DJ so they're my cans for that), but still the Philips sound great for general listening. I listen to a lot of bass music (deep dubstep, drum & bass, other electronic music) and I never feel like I'm missing anything on the low end. And for instrument-driven music, rock, bluegrass, jambands, etc, they sound great as well. I primarily use them as my gaming headset, and they're super comfortable for long sessions. Open back gives you a nice sound stage, though I never use them outside of the house. They don't have the best clamping force, but to me that's more of a pro than a con, as too much of a clamping force can cause discomfort. On the super budget end, the Monoprice Premium DJ Style headphones for $17 is honestly pretty tough to beat value wise. Not the most comfortable, and very cheap on build quality, but really well balanced sound quality.

I'm not the biggest fan of the shp 9500s personally. but I cant deny their comfort and the sound quality holds up It's treble sounds a bit grainy for my standards but it  really is decent.

in terms of comfort though I unironically recommend these I use these all the time. they are not only among the best sounding headphones under $200 but by far the most comfortable. https://www.amazon.com/Koss-KSC75-Portable-Stereophone-Headphones/dp/B0006B486K/ref=sr_1_1?crid=4CW20XCLGJNK&keywords=koss+ksc+75&qid=1680897245&sprefix=koss+ksc+75%2Caps%2C88&sr=8-1

but if your too afraid of these other headphones I like in this price range is the akg k361 and the creative aurvana live! se.

Keep an eye on the X2HR, they usually go on sale on Amazon, depending your country. A few weeks ago the X2HR was on sale for €89 which is an absolute steal. Comfort and sound quality simply cannot be beaten at that price.

I had the shp9500 for a little while and to this day they're the only headphones that were fatiguing to listen to for more than 20-30 minutes, the treble was just to harsh.  This was with onboard audio and a dac/amp fixed them.  Instead I recommend the shp9600 which has claimed to tame the treble.  Also think about looking into a dac/amp like the schiit fulla if you're in the states, or the syba sonic for a budget option, but they aren't required.

Just remember everyone's ear meat and brain meat is different not to mention melon size, so it's all subjective but you can get an idea by listening to peoples reviews.
