I respect Linus for that car, it's still runs and it's a depreciating asset so no need to invest more into it, except maybe a dash cam of course.

 

Pro tip- wait till it gets hail damaged, insurance will pay, don't fix it and drive it (I actually fixed mine DIY, 'paintless dent repair') or use the money to buy another car or invest in the business. Heck you could donate it too or give it to someone in need.

Being a car enthusiast, I felt a little sad when I saw the car Linus has. He should get something better and more stylish. I'm currently driving BMW 7-series which doesn't cost much here in Finland despite the horrible car taxes so it should be even cheaper in Canada. Safe to drive, lots of equipment and engine has some power.

I used to have the same windshield condition on my car. It literally exploded on me with thousand tiny shatters while I was driving due to crazy hot + cold rain here. That bang almost deafened me. Seriously Linus. Get it fixed asap. Cut Slick's wage if you have to. LOL. /jk. but seriously,get it fixed.

if something hit your windshield right now, it WILL go through, you don t want that, (i received an insulated water bottle right on the winshield, at it only stopped because part of it hit the pillar.

 

Also have you tried fixing the leak? that paper will mold one day... duct tape maybe?

Shit, Linus - we need to get you a slightly less hoopty ride.

Nice review though, I'll consider putting one of these in my truck - definitely easier to manage than just using a stock GoPro for the same purpose.

From the UK, but on Amazon there is a slightly different version, that looks better/newer, and with windows suction not adhesive, but is not well documented or reviewed online very well at all, does anyone know anything about this one, its only £2 more;

My one question is , when its recording does it overlap the old footage after it needs space? Bacause i kinda dont want to tinker around with it at all and just want it to work and when i do get into a accident id like to stop recording and save the footage .

Cool vid Linus, I was thinking about a dash cam as well for my car, but I have to say, I'm more inclined to get a helmet mounted camera for my motorcycle. Perhaps you could go out and test a couple of those? I'd love to see some of those

CPU = A10 6800K (@4.3Ghz) / GPU = HD 8670D (@844mhz/ram@1866mhz) - 2016 ≠ Dual Cores - why learn Linux ? - OLD intel x4 cpu (Q6600) + amd HD 7950 - this is what i think on watts x dollar cost - CPU "bottlenecks" only start to show "at the super high end cards" (like the 390) if you have a 4 cores CPU
