EVGA 1000 G+ with non US cord

I bought an EVGA 1000 G+ from Newegg. 

It came with a Chinese power cord and manual. Other than that it looks identical to the G+ I already here.

Is it safe to use or should I return it.

I have spare US cords so that is not an issue.

modern power supplies automatically accommodate whatever standard voltage they are plugged into, unless you buy something extremely cheap with a little red switch on the back.

 

Although, you should hit up newegg for a partial refund, they shouldn't have sent a PSU without the proper hookup

Newegg support is useless on weekends so I have to wait till Monday.

Just look at the stick on the PSU. There should be a field showing input voltage. Usually that would say 100-240 V AC 50/60 Hz, which means the PSU will switch accordingly. In case you still feel unsure, contact EVGA directly, their support staff can you help you out there. From my experience, replacing the power cord is the only thing you have to do.

Yes is has 100-240 V AC 50/60 Hz.

 

EVGA registered it and it works with a US cord so all is good.
