Given that the 4060 doesn't exist yet, keep the 2070 Super.

Would it be worth considering when it does

We don't know. There's no credible information about the performance of that card, and even less info about the price. It is a complete shot in the dark to say either way.

Wait for it to be released to consider buying it.

Ok thanks I was considering an upgrade soon. My 2070 super is going along like a champ.

as long as your current GPU isnt lacking the power to play the games you want to play, dont waste money on a new GPU.

i usually say "buy a new X" but with the way nvidia's pricing is going, i'm leaning more towards "waste money".

Exactly as manikyath said, at 1080p a 2070 super is more than enough capable of doing 90% of the games at ultra 144hz.

Unless you are upgrading to QHD or 4K, keep the 2070.

Yeah, he should get a monitor upgrade first at least a 1440p 165hz and see where it takes him from there.

Upgrade your monitor with the money you’d spend on the card. Monitor > GPU in my opinion, assuming you have a mid range card or better.

1ms

btw that usually g2g time and typically that isnt even a reliable figure or meaningful in anyway,  you could have 1ms g2g response time and still have terrible overshoot and ghosting.

but, why?  games wont magically look better with a new and overpriced gpu (i mean that part is basically a given), they'll just run "faster" ... if you care about that, then sure, most people don't really and prefer a stable and smooth experience instead though.
