Hmm, I think it might be best if you talk to her about it. Also, think what life would be with her for like, a year or so, and if that seems workable rather than a fantasy. Take a chance, man, because if you don't you'll just end up with regrets, fantasies, and "what ifs". Who knows, maybe she does like you, but if you don't do anything, you'll end up meeting her down the street some years later and she'll bring up why you never asked her out. By that time, it might be too late and she might be in a relationship or outright married. Also, stop caring about what others think about who dates who and who doesn't date who. If you really like the person, regardless of gender, appearance, beliefs, etc., then go for it. It's your life, not theirs.
