Next Gen Call of Duty reveal on May 4th

ACatWithThumbs

The new Call of Duty is made by Sledgehammer games and will be revealed on May 4th.
I think the new studio and the new 3 year development cycle will give some fresh air into the series.

even ive the graphics are finally better, the time it took for that was too long and the repetitive gameplay just killed it

How!? They haven't done anything but help save Infinity Ward's ass when they were developing MW3.

Interesting fact: Infinity Ward was pretty much ran out of their own company by Activision after Modern Warfare 2. Bobby Kotick of course kept the name but none of the actual talent that used to develop. Hence, everything they've done since it's crap:

Man, I was huge fan of the series back in CoD2 and CoD4 days. I miss old CoD community, tournaments, lan events and dedicated servers.

@OP

Once a year, I buy one game that I know for sure will be the same as the year before, that game is Call of Duty. All the complaint people have about this game are often very true (iterative to death, lack of innovation) but o boy when I just want a dumb game to play does CoD fill that category well.

NZXT Phantom 410 Gunmetal | Asus Z87-A (don't ask why I have a Z mobo with a non k cpu, have my reasons)| Intel Core i7 4770 | XGIMATEK Dark Knight II| 8GB Corsair Vengeance | 120GB SKHynix | 2tb WD Green | Gigabyte GTX 770 OC | OCZ 750W ZT | Logitech DiNovo Edge | Logitech G602

ITT cod hate.

Top notch reading comprehension, my friend. Top notch!

Anyway, I'll give Sledgehammer a chance before I jump on them saying it'll suck. I'm definitely not going to buy the game unless it goes <10 bucks, but still...
