Anything that does what I want it to do at a decent speed.

For the average home computer for a non-tech person, an i3 on integrated graphics with an SSD and 8GB of RAM in a decent quality case is a pretty solid machine.  I'd have no problem calling it a "good computer".

For a high performance gaming-type machine, an i5 with a GTX 760/R9 270 or up and an SSD and 8GB of RAM in a decent case is pretty good in my book.

This,

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

What do "I" consider to be a good computer? Something that's really good at multi-tasking and has tons of ram. At least 16gbs minimum.

Good computer... hmmm

-> The computer must fulfill the user needs perfectly, and have a nice head-room to cover unexpected action (like using Windows Movie Maker to make a video, it's not something expected, but can happen).

-> The computer must be sleek and professional looking. If it turns your room into a disco rave party, then it failed.

-> The computer must be and feel solid.

-> The computer must be ultra quiet. The computer should not sound like a jet plane reactor, and you have your papers on the desk fly all over place as you use the system.

-> The computer must have an a display that fits the user needs, same for the keyboard and mouse.

-> The look of the peripherals, including speakers, must go well with the monitor, and computer. A hard task sometimes to achieve. The system must look like it was with the money. Impressions maters.

-> The system must be junk free.

-> System startup must be 6sec or less, from power button to desktop. (UEFI, GOP ready graphics card required, and SSD)

-> High quality components.

To me, anything considered "good", is seen at a global level. It includes as above mentioned: Performance, how does it fit the users need and potential future needs, display, peripherals, sound, camera, responsiveness, quality, looks, after sale service, warranty coverage, and quietness.
