Summer is coming, are you ready for the humid attack?

KarsonC

It's an office shared by my bro, me, and my dad, and my bro uses his desk the least and he has a 1080p monitor.

Make sure that whenever you turn your AC on for the summer the condensate pipe is clear so that you don't flood your unit and start a fire. If it is humid you will see a stream of water on it's way down the condensate line. I recommend you kill two birds with one stone and run the condensate line into a yard or something. (yes I am a bit of an HVAC techie)

I wonder what would happen if you ran an air duct from your AC into your PC.

Then I would not need to worry about coolers.

I'll leave my rig on all week, but I usually put it back on my desk in the summer since the floor tends to get a little wet. We'll see how it goes this year.

The middle of Saskatchewan, Canada is the closest thing there is to a desert in Canada.

It has been so dusty the past few days and it has been really windy almost every day this week.

Yesterday you couldn't go outside without having your face sandblasted.

Humidity is sitting @19% when I typed this.

I keep my house at 75F (24c) year around, so the air is constantly flowing.

I suppose people who live in hot areas may struggle, especially if they don't run an ac 24/7.

Air conditioning for me and my PCs. I noticed some motherboards have a anti-humidity option that runs the fans for a while after shutdown to further dissipate heat. I've never had a problem with the computers, I have all of them on UPSes though, but I have had problems with home theater speakers building up static.
