Rules for Twitch Chat? Why was I banned?

So should I send a message to @Slick or @ericlee30 ?

 

My username on twitch is GuestForeverX I don't believe I did anything wrong, wasn't posting links, wasn't swearing, wasn't spamming.

Ok You should be unbanned now, please try and let me know, some times it takes up to 5 minutes for it to go through, but most of the time it goes through insistently.

I was just banned from the twitch chat and I don't even know why? 

I wasn't posted links, I wasn't spamming the chat, I only posted I think about 10 times in like 30 minutes.

This sucks =(

 

So any reason I was permanently banned? (banned permanently for no reason, no warning, 1st ban)

I already don't watch live much, I guess there is no reason to now since I get perma banned for doing nothing wrong.(was mostly just upset when I posted this)

Sometimes they do ban the wrong person by mistake. If you legitimately feel you did nothing wrong just talk to a mod.

Rule number two: Twitch chat is filled with shit and you're better off without it.

I can't help you as to why you were banned, only a moderator can assist you with this.

 

However, I can help you in another way.... Why quit watching just because you're banned from Chat? Twitch chat is horrible anyways.. I always fullscreen it and never even talk. Too many people, spewing too much bs, flying too fast. It shouldn't even be called TwitchChat. It should be renamed to TwitchSpam.

 

My point is, don't worry about it mate. Just watch & enjoy, and if you want to come chat.. and I mean really chat, that's what this forum is for.

You might have said something that you did not know, was not allowed such as "raise your dongers" or followed people who were spamming a certain phrase or word and was clogging up the chat etc. If you didn't do any of that then a chat mod might have accidentally hit yours instead. Were you permanently banned or just banned for 600 sec?

Who cares? Twitch chat moderators will ban you if you so much as breathe. One time, I jokingly typed <message deleted> on a stream and I got temporarily banned. Seriously? People are such drooling idiots that they care about that, let alone don't notice the difference in colors? The chat is about as stupid as the moderators of any Twitch chat are. I don't even bother. I've seen more productive discourse on /b/.

 

Ban me from every Twitch chat that does exist and ever will exist, I couldn't care less. In fact, I'd probably prefer it just so I don't get tempted to say anything.

What is your Twitch user name? I will unbann you on the allacation that you just did not now the rules, or someone just accidentally banned you when it was suppose to be someone else. Just remember, no spamming chat please :)

No, I think they're actually trying to create a place where people can actually talk about the topic.  Having people like you typing shit like that adds nothing.  The chat is horrible because of people like you.  Sorry, but it's true.
