so after I accidentally downloaded World Conquest from an XDCC bot, I started looking through it before downloading it and thought "why not?"

 

It definitely has charm, it's the kind that's so stupid it's amusing. Initial impression is unexpectedly better than I thought. I went in to this completely blind and I'll probably finish it.

It doesn't have any plot, seems to be episodic, but the overarching design is some little girl and her crew are to conquer the world but are also being pursued by the "good guys," since they're technically the bad guys.

 

In the first episode they conquered a small army tank battalion, in the 2nd they conquered their kitchen, in this episode they conquered cigarette smokers.

Managed to pull off the reoccurring joke fairly well this episode (consider Seinfeld) and do it a bit in other episodes (i.e. internal references)

It seems like decent non-marathon plot-free material and has a pretty catchy OP.

Animation and art seems pretty good, mild fanservice doesn't seem overbearing yet (PG13)

It kinda reminds me of KLK

It was also pretty harsh on smokers, lol.

 

entertaining/10 so far. If it continues at this pace I would consider it underrated/hidden gem

entertaining/10 so far. If it continues at this pace I would consider it underrated/hidden gem

I didn't enjoy the humor much, so I didn't make it far into that anime. I was more interested in an actual story though, and that's usually my M.O. if I can't find something adorable to love (I didn't in that anime). 

 

Am I the only one here jizzing my pants over the upcoming MGS V: Phantom Pain?

I'm sure Askew is. 

I'm meh on it. 

MGS is a series I enjoy, and one of the few with 5 main series titles that I'll have played every single one of (assuming I play MGS5), but I don't get hyped for it. I just buy the game when it's <$20 and enjoy it a lot.

@Charger can you heat treat steel to have a nice rich red color? Know you can do blue and you can do gold, but can you do red?

not really maybe able to get a brown / purple mix that may look redish

Nah. I'd just post a screenshot of her head only in a SFW scene to give you what you need to look for. 

Now the question: Do I go searching for it again, years after I seen it last, yet vividly remember what the MC looks like. I find that weird, honestly.

Ah, I do not. :( One reason why Nichijou and others like it aren't things I can directly enjoy. I have to like the characters to enjoy it, because the comedy is dumb to me.

Second. I tend to like it when a show bases its comedy on observational humor and non-referential parody, especially when it manages to ride the line between being a typical show of its type and making fun of them (parodies tend to just cross the line one way or the other, and end up being worse off for it).

I'll need it , unsure of the monitors I got a quote on .-. I believe there the lg 24m37d-b ... Then as I was at the store getting the quote they suggest I get a 27" 4K monitor >.< ugh choices man choices...

man i feel like shit right now. My neighbour's cat got run over and regrettably passed away. Parents called me just now, luckily im awake at 2am. Sucks, it will be missed, its a shame as its two brothers both died from cancer, none of them passed away peacefully

I like this keyboard but I dont know that I would want white because I have to be sure to keep that thing extra clean. plus my PROMLG supplements of mountaindew and doritos would for sure stain those whit keycaps.
