I think that if you buy an 800$ device, you should feel this in everything you do. If you have a great build quality (like with the M8 or with the iPhone),  it makes you appreciate your phone more. You hold a masterpiece in your hand and it should feel that way too. For me the only phones that complete this standard, are the One series by HTC or any iPhone. The iPhone although lacks a large screen, as well as a lot of personisability and functionality. Thats why I love the M8.

My favorite thing about the HTC One M8 is the smoothness/responsiveness of the overall experience. Everything works silky smoothy and there's no hesitatations like with my old Galaxy S4.

Its a bit hard to pick just one favourite. Either those damn awesome speakers or the sleek sexy design, but the dual flash and dual rear cameras are just as awesome! Just one great phone all round!

The battery life & charging time are indeed very impressive, but will be even more so when the fast charge charger is released. My favourite feature (ok one of) is the boom sound.

My favorite thing about the M8 are the amazing cameras on them.  I mean, not much changed between it and the M7, but the cameras are a vastly major improvement.
