Posts in Techlinked sources subforum shows wildly different timestamps

Levent

Browser, version and OS:

W10 21H1, Chrome 93.0.4577.82

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

Recent post by Riley in News/Techlinked timestamps show wrong values on the frontpage.

Screenshots of the issue, if applicable:

2.thumb.png.996bc5fbba83cf8744a9cb03e7c2c786.png

I am guessing this due to most recent post getting edited and that is showing up as the recent post in the homepage while everywhere else post creation date is used?

Ive noticed it too

They always show of being posted the day after the day it is when posted.

I could use some help with this!

Staff have ability to schedule posting threads. That might have something to do with this.

It looks like this happens when a topic is scheduled to be posted in the future, then the schedule is overridden to post immediately. I'll look into how to fix this.

  • 4 weeks later...

This is happening again:

I couldn't even get it marked as read, until I marked the whole site as read

If you think I'm wrong, correct me. If I've offended you in some way tell me what it is and how I can correct it. I want to learn, and along the way one can make mistakes; Being wrong helps you learn what's right.

This is probably unrelated issue. I could mark whole subforum read just fine. Just note that you can't mark it read from small circle icon, only from bigger bubbles.

The fix for this was included in the latest minor release, which shipped just now, so this should no longer occur for new topics going forwards.
