Aerocool "deploy" the air force fans

Aerocool_Air_Force_03.jpg

So the previous fans they made went down VERY well, lots of people liked them, they then thoguth why not make a led verion, so how this works is that the leds have multiple colors, the performance, bearing etc is the same as the previous dead silence model. At 1200rpm it pushs 52cfm at 25dbm and the 140mm pushs 62cfm at 1000rpm at the same noise level.

these fans hit the market at 8 euros and 10euros for the 140mm edition.

It looks like a direct copy of Silverstone's original AP121s. Pretty sure SS has a patent on that plastic grill/channeling plastic bit.

No, thats just a filter to stop wires falling in, it offers no benefits in performance, probably reduces it, luckily they allow you to take it off if you dont need it.

usually its used to make a vortex, to make airflow more centered instead of blowing in all direction

they could use the little nemo fan blades with helps with air flow in the center, these are air flow optimized so static pressure isnt the issue.

The grill does help. Even if its an air-flow optimised fan, the grill will help channel air in a column, going more easily through restrictions.

Makes me think of the fans enermax has. Either way ive got several dead silence fans in my system and they're pretty good

I'm literally sitting here holding one of those pondering the same thing. (as you can see I got curious and cut every other pair out of mine, I've got tons of fans laying around so decided to butcher this one)
