New Windows 9 Concept – Windows 9 install screen

JantsoP

So I’m partnering up with super concept creator Yanko Andreev and we’re going to be putting some concepts for Windows 9 out there to experiment with what the future of Windows could be.

We talked a little about what the Windows 9 install screen should be and this is the concept for a Windows 9 install screen.

Looks neat: Windows9-concept-Install-1024x576.jpg

I mean much cleaner than Win Vista to Win 8 installers

I think we need to seriouslly stop with so many versions for business and home. Windows 9 should ditch that terrible trend and be ONE OS.

But what about lower end hardware ect ect ect?

Windows 9 should simply be a unified OS that has an advanced set-up feature that functions much like RT Seven Lite, Vlite ect. Let users decide what they want installed on their system. I don't want games, languages packs I'd never use, hundreds of drivers for printers I'd never own ect making the OS bloated. I want to choose what I want within reason without resulting to 3rd party. If the system is an underpowered netbook, the install should scan to detect what the hardware is capable of and become the 'starter version' - if the pc is powerful, it should function like an ultimate edition of Windows.

Seriously, please stop the pointless multi versions and make Windows 9. As much as I dislike Apple, I applaud them for not making daft decisions with multiple versions of the same OS. Don't gimp it intentionally, give us the actual OS.

The hipster hate will die out. If it's anything decent a good portion of people will move over from 7 to 9 and then recycle all of the vista jokes with windows 8.

As far as I can tell this website has no association with Microsoft, nor does anyone contributing to the website. This is just a big guess with no basis unless I am missing something?

While i hate the "modern UI" interface, i kinda like the squared look of windows 8. It reminds me of Holo on android

But posting it in the news section kind of implies that it's an official Microsoft concept, which might have some meaning.

Love how clean the concept is. They should have all their graphics to be vectored as it gives it a crisp look. :)

If windows 9 is a faster more efficient windows 7, then I will buy it. If not, Microsoft can screw off.
