Youtube updated again aaannndd....Its....Good?

So yea, Youtube updated the video player and it fixed every issue I personally had with it, for those who haven't had it yet, here's what it looks like now: 7MpFhoo.png

This is with the video player in the 'medium' size setting, the smallest size makes it so that is pushed over to the side more with video suggestions on the side. 

 

How do you feel about this?

 

I personally really like that there is a lot less wasted screen space and also a little side note is that the search bar and Youtube logo move as you scroll

It's been like that  for a while... but yes I actually do like it.

Wow you're like 2months late... the large player has been there for a long time lol...

You can switch between small, large, and fullscreen now.

Did you also know that the gear cog next to it also changes video (and sound) quality and clicking on random part of the video applies the change? Well saying that not a lot of people know that is which is quite astonishing.

You what is one feature I really want? Ability to reverse the play order of a playlist. Every playlist I have ever encountered plays in the wrong order.

Having the resolutions in a sub-menu of a sub-menu is still stupid. Captions has it's own button for christ sakes, surely more people want to select 720p/1080p than turn on subtitles?

Been using the youtube options extension for Chrome specifically because I didn't like the small player or the left alignment, so I've had it like that for quite a while. It also lets you dim the page and give it a "lights off" kind of look, which is really nice.

They updated their mobile app and it sucks if you stream clips from "watch later" to your tv. They destroyed that.

I don't know how to really let it get that big constantly, for me so far it's as if though it'll do it whenever it feels like it :P

But I love it when it's displayed that way, much more comfortable to watch and use.

I don't like how the two options that are always within in the gear are the two most important options. And then the two options that are easily clickable outside of the gear are the least important options.

I like the new layout for it, but for some reason, it never automatically goes to medium size even though I always change it to that size. Always starts out as small.

Um it's been like this for while.

+1 and it still has problems. For me it keep adjusting the volume of the playlist where some songs are too quiet and some are loud
