Yea not sure why they have to do this considering their product are actually pretty decent. Have their dash came and keyboards which are all good.

 

But yea, it is a problem with Amazon, alot of fake reviews and paid reviews that skew the system so it's hard to determine what you get.

Damn Aukey makes decent products too. I wonder if Amazon just wants to sell their own so they banned them.

I got the MPOW Flame 2, they certainly feel a bit cheap, but I've been using them for over a year now and they easily last me the few hours each day I need to use them. I use them for my online classes or whenever I'm out walking about.

I've bought multiple products like that(usually from some Chinese brand) and they usually do end up sending the stuff. Got a few gift card codes, got a memory foam pillow, other types of accessories...
What I do is give a glorious 5 star review, send an email to wherever they ask me to send it along with the link to my review and purchase ID, get my free thing, edit my review to reflect their BS review scam and dock a star or two.

This is really par-for-the-course, and you can find evidence all over Youtube about it.

 

Like, I've been around the internet a long time, and usually stuff that gets kicked off one site appears again under a new brand.

 

Step 1. Chinese drop shipper suckers in some European, American, Canadian, Australian, etc seller to be a patsy

Step 2. Patsy puts up the store using all the assets the Chinese drop shipper stole from somewhere else

Step 3. Store operates until it gets too many complaints of bad products(usually suggesting counterfeits of legit products), and then store vanishes overnight.

 

Meanwhile customers experiences:

- Long shipping time. If your item can not be shipped to you in 4 days via Fedex/UPS, it's probably counterefeit. Only "drop-shippers" take 4 weeks to deliver items. Conveniently long enough to have paypal and other "buyer protection" policies expire.

- Pleas by the seller (the Patsy operating the store), to leave only good reviews, and usually in the listing itself "please contact us before leaving bad review", because they want the long con to run as long as possible.

 

The initial products will usually be the intended products, but then after some time, the drop shipper itself will switch from their "good" supplier to a cheaper inferior one, and completely blow up their patsy's operating stores using their products.

 

Like all we can do is pressure Amazon and eBay to stop feedback farming. Don't permit "ratings" for a seller to apply across all products. You'll sometimes see sellers pad their feedback with cheap worthless items while simultaneously selling high end, high profit products in the same store. Don't permit digital/intangible products to be sold (eg NFT's, game serials, mmorpg loot, etc) and don't permit feedback for such items to count if physical items are sold. Heck just make it simple and include two or three scores. One for "shipping time", one for "physical product review" and one for "intangible product review. Turning the screws on the "shipping time" is one way to discover who is selling garbage on the platform.
