LOW FPS ON A GOOD PC

Hello guys I wonder why i have such low fps on csgo it's almost below 120 in competitive and between 70-90in deathmatch.

I5 10400f 

Gtx 1080

16gb(2×8)ram

Btw i have tried almost all the things like going to nvidia control panel and change the settings set power to maximum performance reinstall the game reinstall windows  I have the latest update on my drivers all my settings are low my fps is not capped or anything.Idk where is the problem?

Please someone help me out!

Edit: I uninstalled the drivers using ddu still no changes

yeah if your playing at 4k and ultra settings, it might be that

also check your drivers, bios, and see if there is bloatware slowing down your pc

also minimize any apps in the background if there are any

That's definitely not normal then. I'd suggest you DDU and clean reinstall Nvidia drivers.

I mean i tested it also in fortnite and i get like 115 avg on epic settings

It's on 2666mhz and yes it is in the correct slots running in dual channel

That still looks a little low. You could always use DDU and do a fresh install of drivers.

That still looks a little low. You could always use DDU and do a fresh install of drivers. 

 

 

I'll try tomorrow to unistall driver using ddu and I will also change the gpu thermal paste for lower temps also I will tell you about my usages
