I feel like i'm addicted to watching videos

seban

I have a pretty baller computer (specs on my profile) that can run basically anything you throw at it with reasonable settings of course. But yet i still watch videos almost all the time and play games for only about 15 minutes to 1 hour a day. At one point, even my dad told me that i should be at least playing something if i'm already sitting at the computer that i built for gaming purposes.

Long story short, i'm posting this to ask you guys to recommend me any games that i could get hooked up to, please.

Thank you, i appreciate it.

if you hate yourself, go play classic wow with the 30 year old dad gamers.

if you hate everyone around you go play league of legends.

if you hate weapon balancing in games go play call of duty (usually always some kind of weapon or attatchment that's stupidly strong)

if you love holding one angle for up to 1½ min every round for 15 rounds only to miss a shot due to 64 tick servers go play csgo.

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

Seems more like you have low motivation rather than needing a game to play.  Besides, we don't know what you like to play or anything about you.

Maybe find something you actually enjoy, rather than avoiding life by watching other people live it.  Which is basically what video watching amounts to, but seems to be what kids these days do to extreme.

FPS Games - Valorant, CS GO
IF you hate yourself then play geometry dash (the steam version) the game takes an incredible amount of skill of the hardest levels (for example the hardest level in the game has 2 million downloads, yet only 7 people have beaten it, and they all took over 50k attempts to beat it)

geometry is hard

Good Im 36, I love video games, but they are a waste of time in reality.

They arent a waste of time in the fact that it allows me to stay connected with friends Ive been gaming with for 10+ years though, and that has value in my life 🙂 inclusive of not thinking about all the work and responsibility I have for an hour or so LOL.

Either way, if you havent tried survival games, with or without PvP element try those, I still get enjoyment out of those.

Eh we as a species change randomly, or around every 7 years from my experience.

Myself, if its a new survival game, Ill jump on for a week or two.  But mostly I play short lived PvP games so I can play for 15 minute sessions and walk away whenever I want.

What keeps me truly gaming (reality) is that Ive belonged to Sixth Legion (our gaming group) for 10+ years and playing with the same people.  Weve talked about it quite a few times - its each other that keeps us showing up each day and we shoot the shit while gaming, and can talk about...anything.  So anymore its for social reasons for me if really think about it.

Try joining a gaming group - socialize while playing?

after playing interloper mode forever, and dying in a field because I failed to look at the time and night set while I skipped time skinning a deer, I switched over to the easiest mode ( i forgot the name) and gave it a quick go, and it was still very enjoyable, possibly more than interloper if you just want to relax and have a quick bit of fun.

I have but its all dead now.. and also when i play with others i always really feel under pressure. I had alot of friends in garrys mod where i wasted so much time on basing and stuff and it was always so awkward interacting with them. It could be that i'm foreign and not english so im not really comfortable speaking i guess. I think im just super strange.
