Yes, that would be me. Also, I'll admit I'm kind of an Intel fanboy. I've been with Intel since since Socket 370. I'll give AMD their marks for their budget options, but they're just not the most powerful.

Aren't AMD 8-core CPU's not truly 8-core? Don't they have 4 modules, with some resources shared? Intel's claim that it would be the first true 8 core non-server CPU would probably be correct.

What I'm interested in is how this Pentium 20th Anv. Edition maintains compatibility between 8 and 9 series, and why the refreshed i7-K is 9 only.
