Thanks😄, can you also tell me where to ask questions related to PC parts???

Scroll down on the forum (upper left of screen click Forums to see the whole list) and select the component you are looking to question.  If its a complete build, pick the Builds section.  Worse case, a moderator will move it to the correct subforum if you accidently choose the wrong one.

As noted above, try to put as much effort into your questions as you would want your answers - this is absolutely the most helpful forum Ive been apart of, great community, we just want the same effort :)

Also the one rule to really remember:  Be excellent to each other

Hi, I just wanted to know how to use this like how to ask questions, etc....

Thanks.

Welcome!

  • Pick the right subforum - look through the whole list, General probably isn't where it goes.
  • Write your question in a post. Give us as much information as possible to help you. Read subforum stickies first.

Enjoy.

hey there, welcome to the forum!

As far as asking questions go, I try to stick to this quote: "Put as much effort into your question as you'd expect someone to give in an answer" by @Princess Luna

If you want a detailed thorough answer, give enough context so the members here can actually answer you thoroughly.

A little bit of kindness goes a long way too. Just by phrasing your  posts a certain way, you can be sure to retain a good atmosphere on a thread.

^use the quote feature to make sure people see you've responded to them (if they're not the author of the thread)

Daaww Hey there!

I appreciate the nod, surely an air of nostalgia! It feels like it's been so long ago!

OP; you might end up hooked up to the forum or not, it depends on how much of a hobby the tech deal really grows inside you. I'd say that learning more in order to help folk in here can be a really nice drive, otherwise simply seeing this place for consultation time to time will usually work out nicely too.

To both cases, being part of a thread and mainly making your own the first to consider is if you're putting enough will and effort into it because it is very easy to spot meaningless threads where those experience with good stuff to speak will ignore. Give a little googling on the matter first, watch some tech channels in youtube and then come here with constructive doubts to nail down what you're up to~
