Found a deal for 400 bucks, seems pretty good

I found a system which has :
i7 6700k running @ 4.6Ghz, MSI Z170A Gaming M7, 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB, Zotac GTX 970 AMP Extreme Core Edition, Kingston 480GB M.2 (2 pieces), 1TB WD Black (3 pieces), Corsair TX750, Corsair H100i CPU Cooler, Corsair 600T Mid tower case, Corsair SP 120 Fans (5 pieces), Corsair Harpoon RGB Gaming Mouse, Corsair Strafe RGB Mech Keyboard Wireless power switch, and  LG 25um58p ultrawide monitor. Yes, 400 bucks :D

What's a good replacement for the cpu and the gpu? can't replace the mobo yet

BIOS update the board and it'll take a 7700K, as far as GPU goes...1080Ti or something RTX2060 and higher. Just be aware the 7700K does run quite a bit warmer than a 6700K.

Yeah, the system plus peripherals, plus monitor falls in that too good to be true category in my mind.

 

If it's a local buy, cash, and pickup I'd say go for it. If it's something like eBay I'd be a lot more weary of a scam.

Agreed, but the Op asked about replacement CPU and GPU. Personally if it was me, I'd leave it at the 6700K and overclock it a bit since it's got a nice AIO on it.

That is a very solid set up for $400, excellent find.

It is similar to my set up, only real differences are mobo and GPU (See my sig) and I have no issues playing various titles such as GTAV, Titanfall 2 and COD MW.
If that set up was mine, I would upgrade the GPU to at least a 2060 super or better, if your budget permits that is.

Check if it's legit lol -- if it's in person, I'd go for it.

If it's legit, upgrade to a 9900k and get an rtx 2080ti or 2070 if u can find one LOL

If that's a local legit sell, RUN, DRIVE don't walk... use insta transmission like Goku and buy that immediately.

Lol thank you all for the concern, but it's indeed legit, i posted it right after i bought it. Nothing is wrong with the setup, Stress tested it, benchmarked on stock, good as brand new. No coil whines for now and the only issue are the dust filters, they are dirty as fuck. but yeah it's running fine for now, who knows what will happen,

Keep the 6700k, there's not logical CPU upgrade option, the only better CPU is the 700k and its not even going to offer a 10% performance lift. If you really want to tinker, delid your 6700k and OC it as much as possible. Otherwise a GPU upgrade in the near future would be a good addition, a used 2060S would be a very good buy.
